Remote Data Analyst (Mandarin)

Description:

• Lightcast is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong Mandarin skills to support global product feature expansion.
• The role involves analyzing multilingual outputs, improving classification performance, and supporting taxonomy translation and parser development.
• This is a full-time independent contractor position for up to 8 months, requiring a personal laptop.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, with strong attention to linguistic detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and RegEx.
• Experience in data analysis using tools like Excel and/or Python.
• Ability to work independently, follow complex instructions, and manage time effectively.
• Reliable laptop and stable internet access required.
