Remote Data Architect

Description:

• Seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure data solutions.
• Lead modernization of data ecosystem using dbt for real-time analytics and enterprise-scale reporting in the cloud.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in data architecture with experience in modern data platforms (pipelines, storage, modeling, governance).
• Expertise in data modeling (3NF, star), ELT/ETL design, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis).
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python; experience with CI/CD and data testing in dbt.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis) and large-scale datasets.
• Proven experience in platform modernization and running migrations without downtime.
• Ability to design architecture and set common patterns across teams.
• Comfortable working across engineering and business domains.
