Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Join a dynamic team in Athens or work remotely as a Data Engineer, contributing to the design and implementation of big data solutions on a scalable cloud platform.
• Develop batch processing pipelines using Spark (Python or Scala) and SQL, as well as streaming ETL/ELT processes from various data sources.
• Write code to support big data solutions, design APIs in modern Python frameworks, and collaborate with Business Analysis teams to meet business requirements.
• Create end-to-end and functional tests, and implement monitoring solutions for the data platform through alerts and dashboards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark, Python, and Databases.
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage and Delta Live Tables.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Analytical mindset, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in the field.
