The Data Engineer will help expand in-house data capabilities and design pipelines for high-volume, high-integrity financial data.
Responsibilities include architecting complex, real-time data pipelines, optimizing processes, collaborating with Data Science, and working closely with on-chain data.
The role involves building data validation systems and exploring new approaches to indexing Bitcoin and Ethereum data.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3–6 years of experience in a data engineering role, with some experience in DeFi, fintech, or a related field.
Extensive experience with Python and SQL is required.
Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is necessary.
A strong understanding of Google Tag Manager is preferred, with familiarity with Data Layer being a plus.
Expertise with orchestration tools like Fivetran or Airflow, data transformation tools like dbt, and git/Github is essential.
A comprehensive understanding of the Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery, is required.
Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards is necessary.
Hands-on experience with blockchain or crypto data, including tools like Dune or Goldsky, is required.
Knowledge of standard ETL patterns and modern data warehousing concepts is essential.
