The Data Engineering team onboards and supports data feed integrations between Client Claim and Clinical data management platforms and the Healthcare Solution Platform.
The team is responsible for the data architecture that drives partnerships with customers and internal organizations, leveraging new age technologies and best practices.
As a Data Engineer, you will develop solution architecture and complete data pipeline connectors that automate data flow between client platforms and the analytic health solution platform.
You will be expected to learn the data connector life cycle, familiarize yourself with existing data pipelines, and contribute to new ingestion pipelines.
Responsibilities include designing and documenting connectors, building and unit testing delivery connectors, and participating in peer code reviews and sprint planning.
You will manage multiple implementations, including new customer setups and enhancements for existing customers.
The role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to propose solutions for complex problems.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant industry experience or a graduate-level degree is required.
Proficiency in SQL (2-4 years preferred), Spark (1-2 years preferred), NoSQL Databases (1-2 years preferred), Database Architecture (2-3 years preferred), and Cloud Architecture (1-2 years preferred).
Experience with healthcare data (2-4 years preferred) and healthcare analytics (1-3 years preferred) is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS (S3 and EC2), Python, Nifi, Kafka, and Java is preferred, with 2-5 years of experience in these technologies.
Strong communication skills are essential for presenting issues and collaborating with team members.
Ability to work independently and deliver work on expected timelines while identifying risks to project success.
