  • The Data Engineering team onboards and supports data feed integrations between Client Claim and Clinical data management platforms and the Healthcare Solution Platform.
  • The team is responsible for the data architecture that drives partnerships with customers and internal organizations, leveraging new age technologies and best practices.
  • As a Data Engineer, you will develop solution architecture and complete data pipeline connectors that automate data flow between client platforms and the analytic health solution platform.
  • You will be expected to learn the data connector life cycle, familiarize yourself with existing data pipelines, and contribute to new ingestion pipelines.
  • Responsibilities include designing and documenting connectors, building and unit testing delivery connectors, and participating in peer code reviews and sprint planning.
  • You will manage multiple implementations, including new customer setups and enhancements for existing customers.
  • The role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to propose solutions for complex problems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant industry experience or a graduate-level degree is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL (2-4 years preferred), Spark (1-2 years preferred), NoSQL Databases (1-2 years preferred), Database Architecture (2-3 years preferred), and Cloud Architecture (1-2 years preferred).
  • Experience with healthcare data (2-4 years preferred) and healthcare analytics (1-3 years preferred) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3 and EC2), Python, Nifi, Kafka, and Java is preferred, with 2-5 years of experience in these technologies.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for presenting issues and collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver work on expected timelines while identifying risks to project success.
