Remote Data Scientist

Description:

• Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is seeking a Data Scientist to join their fast-growing Telekom IT Data Science/ML community.
• The role involves conducting statistical analyses using machine learning techniques and integrating results into existing solutions and business processes.
• Responsibilities include utilizing NLP techniques for textual data analysis, employing Time Series Forecasting methodologies for predictive modeling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.
• The Data Scientist will communicate findings through data visualizations, reports, and presentations, and continuously improve data collection and analysis processes.
• Staying updated with trends in NLP, Computer Vision, and Time Series Forecasting is essential, along with working with the data engineering team to design data pipelines.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV is necessary.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation is essential.
• Experience with basic DevOps tasks, including building CI/CD pipelines and deploying containers to AWS, is required.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Grafana/Kibana) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate data-driven solutions for complex business problems are essential.
• A desire to further develop skills and explore other data science fields within the company is important.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
