The Data Lab, sponsored by members of the Group Executive Committee, combines expertise in Data Science and Software Engineering to enhance risk management and business processes.
The team, consisting of around 30 members mainly based in Paris, Toronto, and Casablanca, addresses various Data Science use cases using Machine Learning and AI technologies.
Key projects include scoring business failure risks, extracting information from images and documents, identifying companies with a custom search engine, building knowledge graphs, and financial modeling.
The Data Lab emphasizes solid Software Engineering practices for operational integrations and manages CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and APIs.
Team members engage in knowledge sharing through presentations, training, and technology monitoring.
The role involves joining the Data Lab team, working in pairs or small teams on innovative projects, designing and developing complete solutions, and contributing to technology monitoring and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an engineering degree or equivalent in Data Science.
A minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating proficiency in Python and best practices for code review and continuous integration is required.
Familiarity with Linux and Git is necessary.
Candidates should possess autonomy, curiosity, and rigor in their work.
Proficiency in English is essential for interactions with business teams globally.

This is a hybrid position allowing for remote work.
Employees benefit from 3 days of remote work per week and a maximum monthly subsidy of €30, along with vouchers worth €12 for each day of remote work.
Coface provides access to an e-learning platform for language training, depending on the type of employment contract.
An equipment allowance of €350 for remote work is available to employees, based on their employment contract.
