Remote Database Administrator

Description:

• Remote Database Administrator position available for candidates within the EU.
• Role involves integration with the Development team and collaboration with a major client’s IT team.

Requirements:

• University degree in IT with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years in modeling tools (e.g., UML) and 5 years with RDBMS.
• Experience in database design and management (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MsSQL).
• Proficient in database administration, tuning, management, and security.
• Knowledge of application development environments and database backup/restore strategies.
• Familiarity with high-availability strategies and disaster recovery tests.
• Experience in writing technical documentation and understanding Active Directory for database security.
• Certification in Postgres is a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language.
