Description:
- Work as a Database Migration Engineer within the Application & Database Modernization pillar, focusing on hands-on migration tasks across various engagements (Oracle-to-PostgreSQL/Aurora and SQL Server-to-PostgreSQL).
- Handle conversion, testing, and reconciliation tasks directly, collaborating with senior engineers on complex issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a database developer/engineer, with exposure to migration work.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of query performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS SCT and AWS DMS preferred, along with schema migration tools like Flyway or Liquibase.
