Protofire is seeking a passionate and proactive DevOps Engineer to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Linux systems administration.
Familiarity or interest in blockchain infrastructure is considered a strong plus.
This role will involve managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, and maintaining high-availability environments both in cloud and on-premise.
The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native and on-premise infrastructure, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using best practices, monitoring and troubleshooting systems performance, uptime, and reliability, containerizing applications, managing Kubernetes clusters, working on automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), collaborating with developers to improve application performance, security, and scalability, and participating in on-call rotations and incident response procedures.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role.
A solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, etc.) is required.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments is necessary.
A strong background in Linux administration is essential, along with familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) is required.
Good scripting skills in languages such as Bash and Python are necessary.
