The position is for a DevOps Engineer Professional – Senior, focusing on the Industrial AI Cloud project in collaboration with NVIDIA.
The role involves consultation to implement DevOps principles in terms of culture and technologies.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting ICT components and applications for the AI Factory Cloud platform.
The engineer will develop concepts and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to meet efficiency requirements.
The role requires providing technical advice to employees and customers, as well as project deliverables to fulfill project scope.
The engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and support of product pipelines, including integration with different platforms and infrastructures.
The position includes developing and implementing architecture based on AI Factory Cloud platform requirements and mentoring co-workers.
The engineer will act as a key technical lead, coordinating activities across related technologies and providing consulting services to project teams.
Responsibilities also include setting up and managing integration with partner applications and conducting research and development in assigned technology.
Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Information Technologies is required.
Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures is necessary.
Knowledge of the AI Factory Cloud platform software stack and its dependencies is required.
Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU-Accelerated server platforms is essential.
Candidates should have knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Transformation, and Data Migration tools.
Solid knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container-based technologies is required.
Experience with VMware environments, particularly VMware Tanzu Kubernetes, is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash is required.
Experience with automation tools and deployments, including Ansible, Salt-stack, Terraform, or Helm, is necessary.
Candidates must have experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
Expertise in automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD is required.
Experience with Linux OS and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is necessary.
Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is required.
Good communication skills, analytical thinking, team cooperation, presentation skills, and negotiation skills are essential.
Advanced English (C1) proficiency is required, and German is an advantage.
Basic project management and leadership skills are preferred, along with intermediate quality management and financial literacy skills.

The final salary is negotiable, with a base salary starting at no less than 3,800 € /brutto, depending on seniority and experience.
Remote working is available, but only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.
