Description:

  • Innovate logistics with a dynamic, ambitious, and multicultural team at Skydropx.
  • Develop secure and tested features and improvements for services and products.
  • Write technical documentation and solve complex technical problems.
  • Ensure best practices for high-scale services and products.
  • Optimize performance and diagnose issues at scale.
  • Mentor team members and communicate effectively with leadership.
  • Collaborate on internal support activities and be available for critical problem resolution.

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • English B2 or higher; Portuguese is desirable.
    • Experience in Ruby on Rails or Node.JS development.
  • 4+ years of experience with GCP (GKE, CloudRun, CloudSQL, etc.).
  • Mid or senior experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with environment variables in container instances (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub.
  • Infrastructure as code development and deployment (preferably cloud-agnostic tools).
  • Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
  • Solid knowledge of software engineering practices and full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems, file systems, proxies, and web servers.
  • Practical experience in distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures.
  • Effective communication of technical ideas to both technical and non-technical peers.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience creating microservices and APIs.
    • Knowledge of JSON, TypeScript, Node.JS.
    • Knowledge in security and compliance.
    • Understanding of common algorithms and data structures.
