The Cloud Services team is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support cloud-based infrastructure and managed services in a SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities include building client infrastructure deployment, designing and implementing automated approaches, building CI/CD pipelines, and authoring deployment logic.
The role involves developing automation and tests, working with AWS services, monitoring server infrastructure, and collaborating with developers for deployment automation.
The engineer will provide technical support for the SaaS offering, develop automation for system maintenance, and participate in project planning and implementation.
Responsibilities also include documenting incident response playbooks and responding to incidents.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 4 years of production-level experience with high volume and highly available distributed systems, preferably Java or .NET based.
At least 2 years of production-level experience with AWS or Azure cloud services is necessary.
Mastery in scripting languages such as Ubuntu, grep, shell, and bash is required.
A clear understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, NAT, and DNS, is essential.
Experience with production Unix container ecosystems, including Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
Proven experience in securely architecting and managing AWS services using Infrastructure as Code techniques is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Knowledge of GitLab or Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible is required, with Kubernetes and Helm being preferred.
Basic knowledge of Java or .NET-based development is required.
Experience in a SaaS company is preferred.
Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence.
