Remote DevOps & QA Engineer

Description:

• This is a remote opportunity within our engineering team for a DevOps and QA Engineer.
• The engineer will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure while ensuring the quality and stability of our software platforms.
• Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated pipelines, enhancing system reliability, and leading the development of robust testing strategies across all components of the company’s technological ecosystem.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure to support product performance and reliability.
• The engineer will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment cycles.
• Responsibilities also include deploying and managing containerized applications in cloud environments using industry-standard practices.
• The engineer will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent, repeatable, and auditable deployments.
• Configuring monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to maintain uptime, performance, and visibility is also part of the role.
• Collaboration with backend and full-stack developers to streamline deployment workflows and system efficiency is expected.
• The engineer will define and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Supporting the QA team by ensuring test environments, automation tools, and release processes operate smoothly is essential.
• The engineer will identify, document, and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Promoting best practices for reliability, automation, and quality across the engineering lifecycle is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or QA Automation is required, with a proven track record of managing production-grade systems and automated testing environments.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and system scalability.
• The ability to design and maintain scalable and secure environments across multiple platforms is necessary.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for deployment and system management is required.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing containerized applications is essential.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, logging, and performance optimization is required.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities are necessary, along with clear written and spoken English for effective cross-functional collaboration.
