Remote (f2pool) DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Build secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
• Perform system administration activities for Linux servers, ensuring the health, stability, and availability of the system infrastructure.
• Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
• Stay updated on peer-to-peer networking security best practices.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all operated systems.

Requirements:

• Possess a BSc/BA degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript.
• Ability to manage server infrastructures with high availability requirements.
• Design experience in secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Setup and maintenance of software in data centers and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security.
• Knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and comfort with ambiguity to drive tasks despite uncertainties.
