Description:
Quadric has developed an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture designed for neural network (NN) inference workloads across various edge and endpoint devices.
The GPNPU can execute both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code, unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators.
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to provide pre-sales and some post-sales technical customer support.
This role requires excellent customer communication and troubleshooting skills for conducting remote and on-site training and product presentations.
The FAE will work independently and gain expert-level skills with the in-house product line, including HPC Hardware, SDK, and Algorithms.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Science is required, along with 5+ years of experience in engineering.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working directly with customers in support of Sales or Business Development activities.
Basic knowledge of software perception systems and/or Computer Vision is necessary.
Fluency in Hebrew and English is required.
Proficiency in Python is essential.
Experience in describing, building, running, and deploying Docker containers is required.
Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based operating systems is necessary.
Experience with at least one neural network/machine learning framework such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Tensorflow-Lite is required.
Experience in quantizing, running, and debugging neural networks with ONNX runtime is a plus.
Experience in selling or supporting semiconductor intellectual property (IP) is a plus.
Experience in supporting parallel C/C++ languages (CUDA, OpenVX, NEON, etc.) is a plus.
A solid understanding of intermediate git concepts such as branching, rebasing, and merge conflict resolution is required.
A solid understanding of the semiconductor development process (RTL, GDS, ASIC, etc.) is necessary.
The ability to methodically debug problems, communicate with the engineering team, and test and deploy system updates and upgrades is essential.
