Remote Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Agent)

Description:

• Cresta is on a mission to enhance customer conversations by utilizing AI and human intelligence in contact centers.
• The AI Agent team aims to create advanced AI Agents that address practical customer problems using the latest technologies in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agent systems.
• The role of AI Agent Engineer involves building and deploying AI agent solutions to tackle real-world business challenges.
• Responsibilities include developing, configuring, and deploying AI agents, integrating them with external systems, optimizing performance, gathering requirements, conducting demos, coordinating projects, and providing technical guidance to customers.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or system integration.
• Proficiency in Python and Golang is necessary, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques are strongly preferred.
• A strong understanding of AI agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is required, with hands-on experience in building such systems preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring) is essential.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience with system integration via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making, including A/B testing and performance monitoring, are necessary.
• Excellent communication and project management skills are required.
• A customer-centric approach with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset is essential.
