Quartermaster AI is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Front-End Engineer to enhance the UI/UX of their Web Portal.
The role focuses on creating visually appealing, highly functional, and user-friendly interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end technologies, design principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing responsive and visually stunning user interfaces for the web portal and mobile application.
The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities also include optimizing front-end code for performance, scalability, accessibility, and security.
The engineer will ensure consistent design across platforms by implementing reusable components and adhering to design systems.
Conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to iterate and improve the UI/UX is also part of the role.
Staying up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies is essential.
The engineer will debug and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure high-quality user experiences and document design and implementation processes to maintain a clear knowledge base.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field is required.
Proven experience as a Front-End Engineer, with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX work on web portals and mobile apps is necessary.
Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and React Native is essential.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is required.
A strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility is necessary.
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and front-end testing frameworks is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions, are essential.
Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
