• Re7 Capital is a London-based cryptoasset investment firm focused on DeFi and alpha strategies.
• The company is seeking a motivated Full Stack Web Developer to join their engineering team.
• The developer will report directly to the Head of Technology and take full ownership of dApps used to interact with vault smart contracts.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.
• The role involves integrating EVM and non-EVM smart contracts using libraries such as Ethers.js and Web3.js.
• The developer will support wallet integrations including MetaMask, Argent X, and Braavos.
• They will design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Collaboration with blockchain engineers to interact with smart contracts and on-chain data is required.
• The developer must implement best practices for security, including wallet connectivity and user data protection.
• Applications will be deployed and maintained on AWS, focusing on scalability and monitoring.
• The role includes setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• The developer will deploy applications to decentralized hosting environments and ensure performance optimization.
• They will contribute to Whisk infrastructure and security for resilient production deployments.
• The position requires working closely with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver new DeFi features.
• The developer will implement interactive UI elements and animations using modern HTML/CSS within PHP-based applications.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and PHP is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years in dApp development.
• Hands-on experience integrating and interacting with both EVM and Non-EVM smart contracts is necessary.
• Familiarity with ConnectKit, wagmi, and Viem libraries for wallet connection flows is essential.
• Experience deploying web applications on AWS, including services like Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, and S3, is required.
• Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools is necessary.
• Working knowledge of CloudFront, CDN behavior, and AWS Certificate Manager is required.
• Familiarity with IAM roles, security groups, VPC setup, and cloud infrastructure security best practices is essential.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue is required.
• Comfort in working in Linux environments and using Git for version control is necessary.
• An understanding of DeFi concepts and major protocols like Uniswap, Aave, and Curve is required.
• Awareness of Whisk infrastructure and security requirements is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and animation techniques is required.
