proSapient is seeking a skilled Fullstack Python Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
The role involves building and improving their primary research platform, focusing on both backend and frontend development.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Python (Django/FastAPI).
The engineer will build and enhance responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
Collaboration with design and product teams is essential to deliver end-to-end features across the stack.
The position requires integrating third-party APIs and services, including LLMs for data extraction and automation.
Experience with PostgreSQL is necessary for modeling and optimizing relational data at scale.
The engineer will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship impactful features.
Ensuring code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best practices is a key responsibility.
Participation in architectural decisions and system design reviews is expected.
The engineer will support and maintain production systems, contributing to observability and performance tuning.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Python and a modern web framework (e.g., FastAPI, Django) is required.
Strong hands-on experience in building frontend applications using React and TypeScript is essential.
Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI or Django is necessary.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance optimization, is required.
Familiarity with REST APIs and background job processing is expected.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The candidate should be comfortable working across the stack and switching between backend and frontend tasks.
