Polychain is seeking a versatile Full Stack Engineer to architect and build the data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces that power their reporting systems.
The role involves working across the stack, from ingesting crypto-asset data from exchanges and block explorers to building performant APIs and designing intuitive dashboards.
Key responsibilities include backend API development, data normalization and storage, frontend and UX development, systems integration, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance and security.
The engineer will design, implement, and secure REST/GraphQL endpoints for both on-chain and off-chain data, automate data ingestion, and optimize data pipelines for reliability and low latency.
They will also normalize diverse crypto data types, manage databases, write performant queries, build accounting dashboards using React and TypeScript, and integrate internal microservices and third-party APIs.
Collaboration with teams across Asset Operations, Finance, and Investments is essential to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
The engineer will uphold data privacy principles, enforce security best practices, and participate in code reviews.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3–5 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
Proficiency in backend development with Go, Node.js, or Python is necessary.
Frontend expertise with React and TypeScript (or equivalent) is required.
Proven experience in designing, building, and consuming APIs at scale, ideally involving crypto or fintech data, is essential.
Advanced SQL skills and comfort working with Postgres, BigQuery, or similar databases are required.
Experience visualizing data using tools like D3, Recharts, or Plotly is necessary.
A solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including on-chain transactions, smart contract events, and DeFi protocols, is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams are essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment.
