Description:

• Constructor is a next-generation platform for search and discovery in e-commerce, focusing on optimizing metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit.
• The search engine is developed in-house using transformers and generative LLMs, powering search, recommendations, and shopping agents.

• The role involves creating and maintaining the foundation for the Merchant Tools application, which is used by merchandisers to manage the shopper product discovery experience globally.
• Responsibilities include maintaining platform stability and security, enabling efficient work for other teams, and owning specific product areas such as authentication, authorization, and audit logging.
• The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience, a strong frontend background, and proficiency in at least one backend stack, capable of launching and maintaining multiple services.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong frontend experience with React and Typescript.
• Backend experience is required with either Python, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is necessary.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure management and automation tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for coordinating with multiple teams.
• Experience working in remote environments is required.
