RYZ Labs is seeking a Full Stack Ruby & React Developer to join a client's team focused on revolutionizing the promotional product blank apparel industry.
The role involves working closely with the North American product team to build and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.
Responsibilities include designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure applications, writing clean and maintainable code, and implementing front-end features using React and modern JavaScript libraries.
The developer will build and optimize back-end APIs with Ruby on Rails, ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components, and perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
Additional tasks include writing and maintaining technical documentation, troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance, ensuring sufficient test coverage, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for API development is required.
Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is essential.
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end performance optimization is necessary.
Experience working with CSS preprocessors (SASS) and familiarity with server-side templating languages (ERB, HAML) is expected.
Candidates should have experience integrating RESTful APIs and a strong understanding of Git for version control.
Knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, Cypress) is required.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA is preferred, and experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Soft skills required include the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, a passion for clean code and best practices, and a willingness to learn and adapt to industry trends.
