Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in React, Node, and GraphQL.
The position is remote and based in Latin America, requiring work in the EST/PST time-zone.
The developer will collaborate with bright engineering minds in SaaS and big data computing.
As a key engineer in the web team, the candidate should excel with minimal technical supervision, embrace time constraints, and work with team members to deliver high-quality products and features.
Responsibilities include enhancing existing Typescript and JavaScript code-base, architecting the app, collaborating with the team to integrate with 3rd party APIs and services, designing the overall application framework, and implementing the front-end build, deploy, and CI pipeline.
The role involves working with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions and designing client-side and server-side architecture.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of software development is required.
Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Node.js is necessary.
The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end coding skills.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in both React and GraphQL is required.
The candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
A BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related degree, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Some experience with backend development (Java or Node.js) and prior experience with building RESTful web services is advantageous.
Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases, as well as experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration), is preferred.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design is beneficial.
An analytical mind and a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field are also preferred.
