Remote Global Security Operations Engineer

Description:

• Senior technical role focused on enhancing cybersecurity threat detection, investigation, response, and recovery across a global environment.
• Lead complex security investigations, optimize threat detection capabilities, and implement automation for improved security operations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or detection engineering, with SOC experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical investigations from escalation to remediation.
• Expertise in modern SIEM and EDR platforms, including detection logic and data onboarding.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (KQL, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with automated response playbooks and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, and cloud security operations.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with distributed teams.
