Description:
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who thinks like a systems architect and builds reliability through automation.
The ideal candidate should have experience in large production environments and should be averse to manual processes.
Responsibilities include designing and building automation-first reliability systems in Go.
The role involves treating infrastructure as pipelines, which includes provisioning, observability, deployment, and failover.
You will be responsible for building internal tooling, control planes, and reliability infrastructure.
The position requires ownership of production readiness, alerting, and operational maturity.
You will work across protocol, networking, and hardware boundaries.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a background in big tech SRE or Production Engineering or a similar field.
Strong Golang engineering skills in production environments are required.
The ideal candidate should be a systems thinker, designing for scale, reliability, and operational simplicity.
Experience in building internal platforms rather than just operating existing ones is necessary.
Comfort with distributed systems, networking, and low-level system behavior is essential.
Benefits:
The position offers the opportunity to work in a high-performance, permissionless global network purpose-built for distributed systems.
You will be part of a mission-driven organization focused on increasing bandwidth and reducing latency.
The role provides a chance to contribute to innovative solutions that empower blockchains and other systems to achieve unprecedented performance levels.
You will be supported by two organizations, the DoubleZero Foundation and Malbec Labs, which focus on the adoption, decentralization, security, advancement, and technical development of the protocol.
