Remote Infrastructure / Platform Engineer

Description:

• Neuphonic is seeking an Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to manage and scale cloud infrastructure and inference systems.
• The role involves extending production support coverage beyond UK hours, focusing on improving system performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in building and operating production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production incident response.
• Understanding of infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Experience in on-call rotations and taking responsibility for production incidents.
• Proactive engineering approach with a focus on identifying and optimizing bottlenecks.
• Must be based in Australia or New Zealand and provide production support during agreed hours.
