Description:

  • Wallbid is a global embedded insurance provider aiming to redefine insurance delivery through technology and partnerships.
  • The Java Backend Engineer will build and operate APIs, services, and integrations for insurance products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Solid knowledge of Java (17+), JVM ecosystem, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Couchbase or another NoSQL database.
  • Knowledge of security aspects of backend applications and APIs.
  • Experience in unit and integration testing (e.g., JUnit).
  • Proficient in using GIT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
