CodePath is seeking a Lead Android Development Instructor for the Fall 2025 term, responsible for providing in-class instruction to university students across the nation.
The role is remote and part-time, requiring less than 10 hours per week from September 8, 2025, to November 19, 2025.
Instructors will plan engaging lessons using CodePath curriculum and ensure the course meets program KPIs while integrating student feedback.
The instructor will lead online class sessions of approximately 100-500 college students and work with co-instructors and teaching assistants to coordinate in-class activities.
Key activities include reviewing course material, participating in onboarding syncs, implementing course improvements based on feedback, and providing feedback to other instructors as needed.
Candidates must be available during specific course hours on Wednesdays and for pre-course training sessions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of full-time working experience in a software development or engineering role.
A strong understanding of Android technologies and development, as well as familiarity with Kotlin, is required.
Candidates should possess exceptional skills in audience engagement, delivery, and Zoom classroom administration.
Experience in teaching or training in educational, volunteer, or work settings, particularly in online learning environments, is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate exceptional professional habits, including timely communication and organization in a fast-paced, part-time setting.
Availability during the specified course hours and pre-course training is mandatory.
Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of instructional experience with a demonstrated track record of educational excellence.
