Description:
- Lead the architecture and development of cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud, focusing on BigQuery.
- Design and implement unified batch and streaming data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance.
- Mentor engineers and set technical direction for data architectures.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years in a lead role on Google Cloud platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of BigQuery architecture and optimization techniques.
- Strong experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub for building data pipelines.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg for data interoperability.
- Experience with Dataplex and Data Catalog for data governance.
