The Data team is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to design and execute the next iteration of their data systems.
This role involves designing web3 analytics systems that operate at web2 scale, reliability, and robustness.
The Staff Data Engineer will collaborate with the heads of Data and Engineering to process high-volume data reliably and robustly.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable ingestion pipelines, optimizing data warehousing, enabling data discoverability and governance, and developing an understanding of on-chain and off-chain data integration.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL and Python is required.
Strong opinions on data orchestrators, catalogs, governance, and testing frameworks are necessary.
Experience in combining in-house and external data is essential.
