  • As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets, developing predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, solve complex problems, and optimize processes.
  • The role involves analyzing, building, testing, and implementing statistical and machine learning models that extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • You will apply mathematical and statistical techniques for spatial and temporal data, develop and implement advanced predictive models, and build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for internal and external customers.
  • Writing and optimizing efficient, maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • A B.S, M.S. or PhD. Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data science is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python and frameworks like PySpark is required.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets is essential.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and SQL Server is required.
  • A track record of writing optimized, scalable code is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets are required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on validation and accuracy of results are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • The ability to mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement is necessary.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines and ensuring data quality is required.
  • A background in robotics or a related field and understanding of temporal and spatial data concepts is desirable.
