The Lead DevOps Engineer will ensure that APIs, analytics platforms, and other applications are always operational and efficient.
Key responsibilities include ensuring p2p nodes and traditional apps run smoothly with zero downtime, troubleshooting deviations from this standard, and communicating with external community members and partners.
The role also involves securing systems from common web2 vulnerabilities, creating monitoring and alerting systems, participating in on-call duties, and identifying the need for automations.
The engineer will also aid in software engineering responsibilities, primarily using Golang, with some Python and Shell.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer in a high-volume production setting.
Mastery of AWS is required.
A deep technical understanding of how common p2p networks operate is essential.
Prior software engineering experience is necessary.
Experience with Postgres or similar databases is required.
Advanced knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools is a must.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly shifting environment.
Knowledge of the Web3 Crypto/DeFi space, along with a solid grasp of recent global trends and use cases, is required.
