Remote Lead Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

Description:

• Lead Ruby on Rails Software Engineer role in a well-established US education-technology company.
• Responsible for architecture, design, and development of Ruby on Rails applications, mentoring engineers, and leading cross-team technical initiatives.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience in designing and scaling APIs, distributed systems, and web applications.
• Proficient with MySQL or other relational databases, Git, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and testing skills.
• 2+ years of experience in planning and executing cross-team technical projects.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to communicate in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus.
