Description:

Zeta Global seeks a Lead Software Engineer for Real-Time Events (RTE) to design, build, and operate the ZMP real-time events pipeline.
This role involves technical leadership, innovation, engineering collaboration, team mentorship, product collaboration, and ensuring infrastructure reliability.

Requirements:

8–10 years of software engineering experience, including Lead/Staff-level work on event, streaming, or data-infrastructure systems.
Proficiency in event streaming (Kafka), Python services (FastAPI), and pipeline processing (Spark/EMR).
Experience with AWS (S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, RDS).
Full software development lifecycle experience, fluency in Python, and familiarity with databases (Postgres/MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB).
Experience with orchestrators like Apache Airflow and a strong operational mindset.
Excellent communication skills to explain pipeline design and trade-offs.
