The role is for a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Scientist focusing on AI applications in Cloud, Devices, and Robotics.
You will be a key member of the research and development team, advancing Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) and Computer Vision technologies.
Responsibilities include researching and developing advanced MLLMs, GenAI, and Computer Vision techniques from multimodal data sources.
You will design and implement efficient MLLM models for visual data analysis and inference.
The position involves exploring novel approaches for object detection, recognition, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding.
You will optimize algorithms for performance, memory footprint, and energy efficiency for resource-constrained devices.
Collaborate with machine learning engineers, firmware, and hardware engineers to leverage hardware accelerators.
Evaluate MLLM model performance using real-world datasets and design experiments for validation.
Stay updated with the latest research trends in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
Contribute to patent disclosures, academic publications, and technical documentation.
Mentor and coach junior scientists.
Requirements:
A PhD with over 2 years of experience in Computer Science or a related field, focusing on MLLMs, computer vision, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
A proven track record of research excellence in machine learning and computer vision, demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences or journals.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++, and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Experience with ROS or robotic operational systems is required.
Ability to drive phases of the ML development lifecycle, including shaping datasets, investigating modeling approaches, and implementing end-to-end training pipelines.
Experience in developing computer vision algorithms for resource-constrained devices is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
