Work at the intersection of computer vision, natural language processing, and production ML systems.
Contribute to the development of LlamaParse, LlamaExtract, and other processing products that handle millions of complex documents including PDFs, PowerPoints, Word documents, and spreadsheets.
Your work will impact thousands of developers building RAG applications and document agents.
Depending on your background, you may focus on data curation, model fine-tuning, or ML infrastructure.
Collaborate with a core document understanding team to push the boundaries of document parsing and understanding.
Requirements:
3-7 years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied research is required.
Strong software engineering fundamentals with production Python experience, including modern tooling such as uv, ruff, mypy, and Pydantic.
Hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML models in production is necessary.
A deep understanding of modern ML techniques, particularly in computer vision, NLP, or multimodal learning is essential.
Experience with at least one of the following: data pipeline development, model training/fine-tuning, or ML infrastructure.
Ability to read and implement from research papers and technical specifications is required.
A track record of executing with high intensity in fast-paced environments is necessary.
Strong technical communication skills and comfort with open-source collaboration are essential.
