Description:

  • Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) for the Nearshore delivery team in Porto, Portugal (Hybrid/Full-time).
  • Collaborate with a UK-based fintech startup to design and architect high-performance compliance and business verification platforms.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record in production systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python (or similar backend language).
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience designing and versioning RESTful APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Familiarity with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
