Remote .NET Developer

Description:

• Develop and enhance functionality of the internal corporate HR system.
• Analyze and modify existing code, XML configurations, XSLT transformations, and generated components.
• Understand subsystem logic based on code, data structure, and system behavior.
• Clarify user and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and specifications.
• Develop algorithms, modules, and integrations with corporate systems and external services.
• Work with databases, ORM, SSRS, IIS, and related components.
• Diagnose and resolve application, IIS, database, integration, and operating system issues.
• Participate in gradual modernization of the system and transition to modern .NET stack.
• Prepare technical documentation and consult users, developers, and administrators as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in enterprise solutions development using C# and .NET Framework.
• Strong knowledge of C#, OOP, design patterns, and principles of separation of concerns.
• Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and understanding of web application lifecycle.
• Ability to read, analyze, and safely modify existing code.
• Proficient in SQL, understanding of relational models, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
• Practical experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, XML validation, and XSLT.
• Understanding of ORM principles and experience with NHibernate, Entity Framework, or similar technologies.
• Practical experience with Microsoft IIS and diagnosing web application issues.
• Experience integrating systems via REST API, SOAP, or web services; understanding of HTTP, authorization, TLS, and certificates.
• Experience with Git, basic knowledge of MSBuild, and understanding of CI/CD.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence, ability to document technical solutions.
• Ability to clarify business requirements and form technical tasks.
• Effective communication skills with developers, administrators, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Higher technical education in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
