Description:

Position: Network Engineer at Endeavour Technology’s Networks & Telecommunications team.
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months.
Location: Hybrid working model available in Sydney or Melbourne.
Responsibilities include managing network reliability and performance across 350+ sites, overseeing technical design, deployment, optimization, and operational maintenance.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of core networking experience in enterprise environments, with knowledge of SD-WAN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and wireless architectures.
Proficiency in managing enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
Understanding of Zero Trust architectures and secure cloud networking in Azure.
Experience with network scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE 4+) are highly regarded.
