Remote PEGA-Senior System Architect

Description:

• We are seeking an experienced professional with extensive expertise in system engineering for a cross-departmental large-scale IT project in the public sector.
• As Lead System Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and operating complex system landscapes.
• You will act as the technical link between architecture, development, and operations, ensuring that the performance, stability, and security of the systems meet the highest standards.
• Your role will involve both strategic architectural decisions and operational delivery of critical systems, integrations, and migrations.
• The daily rate for this position ranges from €440 to €496.
• Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing complex IT infrastructures, ensuring system performance, stability, high availability, and security, and analyzing and resolving technical issues (3rd-level support).
• You will collaborate closely with architecture, development, and operations teams, create and maintain technical documentation, operations manuals, and guidelines, and manage system migrations, rollouts, and integrations.
• Additionally, you will support the implementation of security and compliance requirements and provide technical coaching to project and operations teams.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience as a PEGA Lead or Senior System Engineer.
• Proven experience in leading technical implementation projects is required.
• In-depth knowledge of server, storage, network, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Linux, Windows, VMware) is essential.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and hybrid architectures is necessary.
• Skills in automation, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) are required.
• You should have experience in performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning of complex systems.
• Fluent German language skills are mandatory, and good English skills are desirable.
• A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work style with strong execution skills is expected.
