ScienceLogic is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Machine Learning Engineer specializing in LLMs and autonomous agents to work on an innovative AI-driven orchestration engine.
The role involves architecting and leading the development of scalable, robust AI orchestration frameworks that enable autonomous, agentic AI systems to collaborate and execute complex tasks.
Responsibilities include designing and building LLM powered proprietary AI agents capable of reasoning, learning, and adapting within dynamic IT environments.
The engineer will drive innovation in multi-agent orchestration, including task decomposition, dynamic scheduling, and adaptive control strategies.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams—product management, data science, and software engineering—is essential to translate business needs into technical solutions.
The role requires ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of agentic AI systems in production.
Mentoring and guiding engineering teams on best practices in AI system design and agent-based architectures is expected.
Staying at the forefront of AI research and applying advances in reinforcement learning, automated reasoning, and distributed AI to enhance Skylar capabilities is crucial.
The engineer will also contribute to ScienceLogic’s intellectual property and represent the company in technical forums.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in software engineering focused on AI, autonomous systems, or multi-agent architectures.
A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or a related field is preferred; a bachelor's degree is required.
Research experience in LLM and agentic orchestration is necessary.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing agent-based systems and orchestration frameworks is required.
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java are essential.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and reinforcement learning techniques is needed.
A deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable software design is required.
Familiarity with natural language processing, knowledge representation, and automated reasoning is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
A track record of delivering complex AI projects from concept to production is required.
Domain experience in Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, Machine Learning/AI, scalable architectures, and Cloud Technologies is a big plus.
