Remote Principal Architect, Platform & Data Lake

Description:

• TetraScience is developing a scientific data and AI cloud for biopharma, focusing on secure and compliant capabilities.
• The Principal Architect will oversee platform architecture, including Enterprise Platform, Scientific Search, AI/ML Ops, Developer Platform, Lakehouse Platform, and Cloud Infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years at staff or principal level in SaaS or data infrastructure.
• Deep architecture ownership in Enterprise Data & AI Platforms or Data, Knowledge, and Developer Products, covering a majority of specified domains.
• Experience with enterprise authentication systems (SAML, OIDC, RBAC) and AI/ML serving infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with search architecture and data lake architectures (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg).
• Infrastructure fluency on AWS with Kubernetes or ECS.
• Strong cross-team communication and ability to document architecture decisions.
