Description:

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Data Lakehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate with customers to understand business goals and translate them into architectural blueprints.
Design and implement data pipelines for real-time and batch ingestion.
Establish best practices for data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality.
Define data security, access control, and governance models.
Serve as the technical lead, mentoring engineers and ensuring architectural consistency.
Balance strategic discussions with hands-on solutioning and performance tuning.
Partner with stakeholders to drive solution adoption and maintainability.
Act as a trusted technical advisor in client engagements.

Requirements:

8–10 years of experience in Software Engineering and Data Platform development, with 5+ years on GCP/Databricks.
Proven experience designing and deploying Data Lakehouse platforms.
Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
Expertise in data modeling, storage optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience with data governance and security solutions.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead mixed teams and balance architectural vision with delivery.
Nice to have: Experience with Databricks and hybrid GCP-Databricks architectures.
Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity for new technologies.

Competitive salary range: $195,000 - $270,000.
