Description:

  • Sezzle is seeking a Principal Engineer for Data Infrastructure to manage and optimize database and data warehousing systems.
  • The role involves end-to-end ownership of data infrastructure, performance tuning, and integrating new technologies to support high data volumes.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in DBA, SRE, or Data Engineering roles with a strong track record in scaling production-grade systems.
  • Deep expertise in MySQL, Postgres, AWS Redshift, and advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong hands-on experience with data replication and ETL/ELT frameworks, especially DBT and AWS DMS.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
