Remote Principal Frontend Engineer

Description:

• HavocAI is seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer to architect, build, and scale real-time interfaces for autonomous systems across various domains.
• The role involves working with a senior team to enhance a geospatial interface that commands autonomous vehicles, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of frontend engineering experience, particularly at Staff or Principal level.
• Expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of frontend performance and rendering models.
• Experience with geospatial applications using technologies like MapLibre or Mapbox GL.
• Proven ability to scale real-time applications and optimize large geospatial feature sets.
• Familiarity with real-time communication technologies (WebSockets, MQTT, etc.) and client-side data architectures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction.
