As a Principal (Lead) Web Engineer, you will play a key role in setting technical direction for engineers and lead fast-paced projects using agentic AI to accelerate delivery.
You will provide enablement to the whole team to multiply your impact through others.
This role is fully remote but must be based in the Pacific Time Zone of the United States or Canada, with full work authorization already in effect. No Visa sponsorship is available.
You will develop and enhance manufacturing workflows in the Redzone Web applications.
You will complete delivery work committed during the sprint to achieve business goals.
You will help the business maintain a competitive edge by leveraging the latest Web technologies.
You will rely on feature flags to rapidly deploy and iterate on new features and lower the risk of delivering software to production.
You will provide subject matter expertise during incidents to resolve customer issues quickly.
You will participate in forums to explore interests outside of the sprint work and contribute ideas to continuously improve the system.
You will commit to the team to help the team and the wider business achieve our goals.
Requirements:
You must have 7+ years of Web Development experience, including 3+ years of experience with Vue.
You should have experience working on Agentic AI Tools such as Cursor and Github Copilot Workspace.
You must have experience with tools to build cross-platform Apps, including Electron and Capacitor.
Strong knowledge of Vue 3 and Typescript is required.
You should have experience with associated packages like Bun, Deno, or Nest.js.
You must be familiar with CI/CD GitHub Actions.
You should have experience with API-first design using Open API Spec (OAS).
You must be comfortable developing RESTful APIs and writing testable code.
You should have experience with Trunk-Based Development and Continuous Delivery.
You must have experience deploying Web apps on mobile or desktop platforms.
You should have experience prompting agents with structured tasks and refactoring and debugging using agents.
Nice to have: Experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Systems Architectures, generating endpoints and models from OAS, developing server-side JavaScript with Node.js, Launch Darkly Feature Flagging, and Docker.
