  • The Principal Machine Learning Scientist will join a global team focused on delivering cutting-edge Machine Learning systems integrated into a suite of learning, teaching, and integrity products.
  • The role involves developing novel and deployable ML models and solutions, requiring a strong understanding of the mathematics of machine learning and deep neural networks.
  • Responsibilities include researching and developing Machine Learning models, optimizing them for production, collaborating with various teams, curating datasets, investigating model weaknesses, and presenting findings.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math, or related field, or outstanding achievements in Deep Machine Learning.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience in Machine/Deep Learning, Computer Science, and Software Engineering.
  • A strong understanding of the math and theory behind machine learning and deep learning is essential.
  • Academic publications in peer-reviewed conferences or journals related to Machine Learning, preferably A/A+ rated.
  • Proficiency in Machine/Deep Learning development skills, including popular platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Hugging Face, and PyTorch.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

  • The expected annual base salary range for this position is $147,300 to $245,000, with eligibility for bonuses or commissions.
