Remote Principal Operations Engineer, Network

Description:

• Serve as the senior technical authority for the operational network fleet across hyperscale AI data centers.
• Lead site assessments, operational audits, and ensure technical readiness of the network ops team.
• Author and execute high-risk network MOPs and conduct root cause analysis on network disruptions.
• Collaborate across various teams and travel 50-75%.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience operating mission-critical network topologies at scale.
• Proficient in IP network operations and optical networking.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and network routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS).
• Experience in authoring high-risk MOPs and leading root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills for writing assessments and teaching.
• Bonus: Experience with hyperscale fleets, Linux, and scripting for operations.
