Remote Principal Software Engineer, Networking (Seattle or SF Bay Area)

Description:

• Lead the technical direction for Docker's networking stack and make architectural decisions impacting the product portfolio.
• Design, implement, and operate core networking services for Docker's Sandboxes platform across various environments.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale cloud or distributed systems with a focus on networking.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, container networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Linux networking, OVS/OVN, DPDK, eBPF, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
